Thank you to the stranger on the scooter and the one with the jump leads

When our motorbike Fernando didn’t start due to an empty battery (yup, we left the lights on overnight!), we tried to jump-start it.
Two blondes, a hill and a bike with a dead battery – a recipe for success? Well, not quite.
A lovely gentleman on a scooter stopped on the way past and helped us push the bike. Nothing. Fernando was grumpy and didn’t start.
So we decided to go find a mechanic when another gentleman who saw us push the bike past his house came out with a power pack and jump leads. Ten minutes later Fernando was happily running and we continued our journey.
A perfect Moment of Humanity, two strangers taking the time to help us out. Just because they can.
